Andrew Holsman
Chairman

Andrew has recently been appointed as the Chairman of the HPS Board. Andrew is working closely with the Managing Partner to drive the development of clear business strategies, strengthen risk management, set corporate procedures and generally assisting in operating good governance standards. To maintain the national leadership profile of the organisation, Andrew also plays a role in technology and support systems and practices.

Andrew is also currently the chairman of international architectural firm, Woods Bagot (1993-97, 2003 - present). In this role Andrew has managed the process and appointment of a new group managing director; developed and implemented a performance management framework for all partners and directors; and has conducted performance reviews at a senior level.

Before joining HPS, Andrew served as a partner at Ernst & Young for 20 years. During this period Andrew held national positions of Managing Partner of consulting, Head of Business Development, Managing Partner of South Australia and Head of Business Advisory Services in Adelaide and partner in charge of Corporate Development.

Andrew has also been acting chairman and consultant to Adelaide engineering company, Cold Logic (2005-06) and has recently conducted performance management review for board members and senior management for the Australian Central Credit Union. Andrew has previously held board positions for the National Trust of South Australia, Adelaide Festival Centre Foundation, Royal Adelaide Hospital, Burnside Hospital and Greening Australia.

Andrew has extensive experience in leading and managing large projects requiring effective stakeholder liaison, communications and project leadership skills. Over the years, Andrew has managed significant strategy and organisation redesign projects in local and national government departments, innovative growth companies and leading global companies.
